Hundreds of volunteers are needed to make each book sale a success. Volunteers are needed to work before the sale for set up, during the sale, and after the sale for tear down. Please note all volunteers must be 15 or older to volunteer at the event.
Book Sale Set-up / Unboxing – Unboxing volunteers work on the Tuesday afternoon and/or Wednesday before the opening day of the sale. Volunteers open boxes, remove book sale items and place them on tables.
Checkout – Two or three volunteers work together to read prices, operate the calculator, take payments (cash and/or credit card), and bag or box books
Restocking – Collect books that customers have abandoned in designated bins and bring them to the resort area; return re-sorted books to appropriate tables.
Floater – Floaters are our “jack-of-all-trades” volunteers, filling in where most needed.
Join us in building a stronger community, one book at a time. We collect gently used books and sell them at affordable prices. All proceeds support our community, providing vital resources to individuals and families in need. Your support helps us empower lives through literacy and opportunity.
