Ticket Taker
On opening night ticket takers greet customers and accept the entrance fee payment by cash or credit card.
 
Volunteer Check-in 
Volunteer Check-in staff manage the sign-in table with rosters and name tags, welcome volunteers, and provide information and guidance to sale volunteers.
 
Setup Crew
Setup crew move and set up essential small equipment and supplies in the 4-H building.
 
Pallet Unloader
Pallet unloaders take boxes of books off pallets and place them on designated tables.  Unloaders must be able to lift boxes up onto tables.
 
Unboxing
Unboxers slit open boxes of books and arrange the books on tables.
 
Checkout Runner
Checkout runners help customers bring and load their purchases to their vehicles.
 
Restocker
Restockers bring books that have been discarded or miscategorized to the sorting room and bring them back to the appropriate category.
 
Checkout Volunteer Coordinator (CVC)
CVCs instruct checkout volunteers on their duties at the checkout stations, including how to collect payment.  They also direct customers to open checkout stations.
 
Holding Area
On opening night volunteers in the holding area assist customers by boxing and tagging their large purchases and staff the holding area checkout station.
 
Holding Area Runner
Holding area runners help customers bring and load their purchases to their vehicles.
 
Teardown Crew
Teardown crew pack and load sale equipment and supplies and recycle remaining items.
