The spring 2026 YWRC Book Sale will be held at the 4-H Exhibits Building of the Iowa State Fairgrounds.
The sale will return to full size for the Spring 2026 sale, held over Memorial Day Weekend. We’ll have thousands of books and media items for you to browse and purchase – all for great prices and a worthy cause.
Proceeds from the YWRC Book Sale will support local girls and young women so they may be strong, self-confident, and resilient. Because of supporters like you, they have the tools and skill sets necessary to overcome adversity, bolster their self-worth, gain key information to have healthy
relationships, learn social media safety, receive critical childbirth/postpartum/parenting education, and achieve a life full of possibilities.
General Information:
- Carts will be available for use throughout the sale
- A Holding Area will be available for shoppers to utilize on Thursday, May 21st
- We are encouraging people to bring their own shopping bags if they are able
- Payments accepted during the sale: Card, Tap to Pay, Cash. No Checks
- People may line up outside the 4H building one hour prior to the sale start times, no items may be placed outside the building to save a place in line; they will be removed by the Fair Grounds Security

- May 23rd 9:00am – 6:00pm
- May 24th 9:00am – 6:00pm 50% Off day
- May 25th 9:00am – 6:00pm 75% Off day
